MCAT2015 Expanded Psych/Soc Outline Update

Our MCAT Special Ops Team has been hard at work building out our free and in-depth expansion of the AAMC’s offical MCAT2015 outline. Dr. Birju Patel — a psychiatry resident — is helping to lead the charge on the construction of this outline, and we’re very happy to report that Content Categories 6A through 7B are now available here.

For those of you who haven’t seen the expanded outline yet, you may want to take a quick look at our Resource Abbreviation Key and then jump into whatever category you’re working through in your studies at the moment.

Again, the driving purpose behind this outline is not only to provide you with detailed definitions, resource references and examples to help you master the new Psychology/Sociology section (and eventually knock it out of the park come test day).

Also, if you’re just starting your MCAT studies and are unsure of which resources to use, check out our in-depth and impartial resource reviews.

In addition, if you want to use pre-made MCAT flashcards to master the wealth of material, we’ve also reviewed the major companies’ flashcards in this post.

The Expanded Psych/Soc Outline is a living, breathing document that will be updated as we go along, so if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please let us know. Best of luck with your studies!
