Chris is a dedicated and highly supportive tutor who has a passion for medical education and helping students reach their full potential. He never tested very well on standardized exams until the USMLE exams, and he feels that he owes his success to well-organized and meticulous preparation. Chris knows that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the amount of content covered by these exams, but he believes that having a tailored study schedule helps students focus on their daily goals and feel reassured that if they stay on track with each day, they will ultimately reach their goal. Although he first started teaching in various undergraduate pre med courses in college, he learned more about medical education in medical school where he facilitated various small and large group sessions, provided one on one tutoring for course exams and USMLE Step 1, developed new OSCE cases, and created a study guide for the neurology clerkship. He loves helping students navigate their way through difficult questions by strategically dissecting vignettes and simplifying seemingly challenging concepts. Chris always strives to achieve a balance between being as supportive and nurturing as possible while challenging his tutees during each session.
