Seek simplicity, and distrust it. ~ Alfred North Whitehead
Michael is a confident, energetic, and insightful tutor who brings nearly a decade of formal tutoring and teaching experience to clerkship and board prep. He has learned that building a strong foundation of physiology will go a long way when layering in pathophysiology during exam prep and has integrated this approach into his tutoring. Michael began tutoring for math and the sciences in high school, and grew his expertise over his four years tutoring and teaching for the MCAT at Kaplan before transitioning to Med School Tutors. He loves seeing his students succeed and has a passion for medical education, which is why he plans to find time to continue tutoring during his residency in Anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Michael prides himself on providing his students with a comprehensive and individualized approach to both studying and test day. While providing the support his students require, he holds them accountable and pushes them with difficult probing and honest feedback along their path to test day to identify both strengths and weaknesses. Michael becomes personally involved in his student’s success, and hopes to have the pleasure of having you as his next student!
