Kathryn is a positive, encouraging, and detail-oriented tutor who has built her approach to test prep through trial and error over the years. She discovered the power of one-on-one teaching and learning early on in medical school and is now a true believer in the value of talking through the material and asking the tough questions in a supportive learning environment. As a result, she works hard to challenge students to identify the limits of their knowledge and support them as they push past those bounds. A lover of color-coded spreadsheets, she also brings a strong sense of structure and time-management to her work, always making sure to leave time for much-needed recharging (not just of your electronic devices—most importantly of yourself)! One of her great passions is mentoring and she has worked in mentorship roles at all stages of her career journey; she feels strongly that a big portion of exam success is identifying and addressing social and emotional barriers.
