Like many medical students, Victoria initially experienced some struggles while preparing for Step 1 (including a very disheartening practice score early on) but was able to tailor her studying to master the topics that she found the most daunting (we’re talking about you biochem!), and will help you to do the same! She learned that too many resources made for ineffective work, so she will help to keep you focused and efficient all while being your biggest cheerleader every step of the way!
Victoria has experience in developing curriculum for medical students, as she was a co-designer of an elective that focused on caring for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities and organized many educational events for student interest groups. She was also a teaching assistant for an honors neuroendocrinology class during undergrad, so she knows how to help students that desire high achievement.
Her students can count on her to always provide honest feedback and hold her students accountable, to share in their successes and failures (because no student is perfect!), to be sensitive to the individual needs of her students, and to work collaboratively to help students achieve their goals by honing test-taking strategies and teaching you to play and win the “standardized test game”.
