"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." – Time Notke
Clay is a dedicated, patient and supportive tutor who just completed both USMLE exams. With those experiences still fresh in mind, Clay understands the stress of studying for board exams and is excited to share his study strategies with students. He believes that with a regimented study schedule, regular exercise and plenty of sleep, everyone can achieve their test taking goals. Clay has served as a paid tutor throughout undergrad and medical school so he brings multiple years of tutoring experience to his work with MST. What he enjoys most about tutoring is finding out how a student learns best, and then tailoring sessions and study schedules to fit that mold. Clay considers his strengths at MST to be breaking down complicated vignettes; developing killer, detailed, and customized study schedule based on students’ study preferences and progress; and being personally invested in students’ success. He knows that the only way to be successful is by giving your best effort, and he’ll be sure to support you in doing so!
